Winners of Bedshed's awards for excellence in franchising announced!
Bedshed holds an annual awards night to acknowledge excellence and dedication among our close knit franchise network. We like to give credit where credit’s due, and love the opportunity to get together and celebrate!
There are always numerous awards to present to our wonderful and dedicated franchisees, and this year we were excited to announce a new one. The celebrating success award recognises someone who has consistently demonstrated that hard work and determination pays off, leading not only to a successful career, but success in anything you put your mind to. Russell Fudge of Bedshed Cockburn, O’Connor and Mandurah, our first winner of the celebrating success award, has not only contributed extensively to the business, but has also been studying and will soon graduate with an MBA. We wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate Russell on his impressive efforts to manage both his career in franchising, and his passion for study.
Graham and Helen Gibson from Bedshed Moorabbin, also known as being the ‘fittest’ franchisees in the Bedshed group for their impressive triathlon endeavours, received the national award for best presented store.
Our most prestigious award, franchisee of the year, was no doubt the most competitive. This award goes to someone who wholly embraces the Bedshed culture and values and there are many franchisees who make wonderful contributions. Katy Gennai from Bedshed Watergardens was our 2015 national franchisee of the year – a huge achievement, and we couldn’t be more proud of her. Katy is passionate in everything she does, and works hard to unite our team. When the new Bedshed store was opening in Fyshwick, Katy and her husband went the extra mile (literally and figuratively) of their own accord to help new franchisee Gagan Kaur put the finishing touches on the new Canberra store.
We also celebrated and presented awards to the stores with the highest turnover and highest growth.
