Raring to go: RARE wins national Bedshed advertising account

Perth-based RAREcreativethinking has won the lucrative national account for specialist bedding franchise, Bedshed, from incumbent Gatecrasher following a three-way pitch.

 

Bedshed Chief Operating Officer, Gavin Culmsee, said RARE impressed across the board and is the best agency for the job.

“RARE took a fresh and original approach, demonstrating they are the right fit to work with Bedshed as we continue an aggressive national expansion program,” he said.

“Our three-and-a-half year partnership with Gatecrasher ends on good terms and they deserve due credit for Bedshed’s current strong position.”

RARE will be responsible for Bedshed’s creative consumer advertising program, a multi-million dollar account.  The media buying account will remain with Media Forte.

Bedshed joins RARE’s collection of high profile clients, including TAB, Bankwest, Health Insurance Fund of Australia (HIF), Stockland and Mercedes Benz WA.

Callum Mackenzie, Managing Director at RARE said he was delighted to have been awarded the Bedshed account.

RARE will commence on 1 February 2012.
