Bedshed Franchisees' Achievements Celebrated at Annual Awards Evening

At the beginning of each year, Bedshed holds an annual awards evening to acknowledge excellence and dedication among our close-knit franchise network. We like to give credit where credit’s due, and love any excuse to come together and celebrate each other’s hard work and success.

We have regional award winners over a number of categories, and a national award winner. As always, there were several brilliant award winning entrants, including;

Best Presented Store

Sales are without a doubt the most important part of any retail business. However, it’s often hard to achieve those sales if a store doesn’t look the part. Products and services need to be on show and displayed in such a way that is aesthetically enticing for the consumer. Bedshed’s Evolution fit out goes a long way to helping showcase our products. Bedshed believes it’s critical to recognise and acknowledge the store that’s best demonstrated the importance of presentation.

A big congratulations to our national award winner from Bedshed Moorabbin, Matthew Sheedy, whose store is always looking welcoming and impressive for his customers.

Employee of the Year

This award recognises someone who truly leads by example, consistently putting their best foot forward. This person goes above and beyond to ensure the rest of the team has what they need to succeed. When challenged, they rise to the top to do what needs to be done. He’s presided over a tremendous sales increase, driven by his leadership and motivational skills.

Well done to this year’s employee of the year, Stephen Marchant-Carr of Bedshed Cockburn who continues to add value without needing to be asked.

Franchisee of the Year

The final, and most prestigious, award for the evening recognises those franchisees that live and breathe the Bedshed values. We’re extremely lucky to have a plethora of great people who make significant contributions to the business, and with so many dedicated and committed franchisees in the network, this award is very competitive. This person is always the first to put their hand up to offer support, going out of their way to help those around them. Always looking to learn and better themselves, this person has previously been a member of both Bedshed’s Merchandise Advisory Council (MAC) and Franchise Advisory Council (FAC).

Congratulations to the 2017 Bedshed franchisee of the year – Russell Fudge of Bedshed Cockburn, Mandurah North, and O’Connor.

Bedshed also celebrated and presented awards to the stores with the highest sales growth, highest turnover and best salesperson.
