And the winner is... Bedshed celebrates success at annual awards evening!

The annual Bedshed Awards are a night of celebration among our franchising family. At Bedshed, we like to give credit where credit’s due, and we love any excuse to come together and celebrate the network’s hard work and success.

This year, there were a number of award-winning entrants, including;

Best Presented Store

While sales are a big part of the retail business, it’s often hard to achieve those sales if a store doesn’t look the part. Studies show that one of the ways to ensure a customer is satisfied is through the ease with which they can browse their way through a store. Not only that, but for a business to make sales, their products and services need to be visible and displayed in a way that is visually appealing. That’s why Bedshed believes it’s important to recognise the store that’s demonstrated the importance of presentation. Congratulations to our national award winners from Bedshed Watergardens, Katy and Mauro Gennai.

Employee of the Year

The Employee of the Year award is our newest addition to the Bedshed awards. It’s an award designed to recognise someone that’s always willing to put their best foot forward. It’s about acknowledging someone who proves that hard work and determination pay off. To be recognised for this award, franchisees need to be able to add value without being asked. That’s exactly why this year’s award winner is Stephen Huntley from Bedshed Watergardens.

Franchisee of the Year

The final award for the night was about recognising those franchisees that live and breathe the Bedshed values. With so many dedicated and committed franchisees in the network, this award was by far the most competitive. This person always helps out when called upon, they’re often the first person to put their hand up and offer their support. Not only that, they managed to attend every MAC meeting, every overseas trip, as well as the FAC meetings, all while opening a second store. Congratulations to Sandra Green from Bedshed Highpoint and Hoppers Crossing in Victoria.

We also celebrated and presented awards to the stores with the best salesperson, highest turnover and highest growth.
